Your central location for Snohomish County YMCA certifications and annual trainings.
What’s the Training Hub all about?
The Training Hub is a place where you can find links and information for all the resources you need to succeed in the Y. In the Training Hub we have easily identified tabs that will take you to your specific area of work, from there it’s a simple matter to join a certification track, register for a class, and even get the latest training news for your department! While the Training Hub doesn’t substitute for YMCA’s Learning & Career Development Center (LCDC), it does have information on training opportunities designed to further your understanding of your role within The Y and your personal career development.
Snohomish County specific trainings:
As they are created, videos on how to use the Kronos timekeeping system, completing performance reviews, and other trainings are being created and updated all the time. When done they are uploaded into The Hub and can be accessed whenever needed. You can access these types of trainings through the ‘Supervisor’ page.
Trainings and certifications specific to your department can be found in the Area’s of Excellence pages. Suggestions on the types of trainings you would find helpful can be sent to training@ymca-snoco.org
Take a moment to listen to some of our Y stories.
Snohomish YMCA Association Trainings
Let’s jump into your specific area of work.
The index on the left of this page is divided into our Areas of Excellence.
We recommend new staff begin their training with the ‘First Day’ page which gives information and links to all of the required compliance trainings.
For staff looking to renew their annual trainings, the ‘Renewals’ page is for you!
And by going to the Areas of Excellence pages, you can find information and links to trainings required for your role in the YMCA.
If you have any questions or suggestions about trainings and this site, feel free to reach out to training@ymca-snoco.org
Need to register for a training in the LCDC?
You will first need to have an account with YMCA. Here is a pdf showing how to make an account:
The LCDC (Learning & Career Development Center) is an older system and can sometimes be a little cumbersome to navigate. Click on this link for a short tutorial on finding and registering for Y-USA classes in the LCDC.
