Volunteers

Thanks for your interest in volunteering!

A short history of volunteerism at The Y:

Child Abuse prevention (CAP) training is required for all our volunteers.

To complete this class, you will need to create an account with Great Academy. This training is done every year so make sure to keep a copy of your log-in and password.

You might not be completing these trainings today. If you are new to Great Academy, today is about making your account, and once it has been approved (within 2 working days) an email will be sent to you notifying you that you now have access to the trainings. If you are returning, you can access your account at any time. If you have forgotten your password or other log-in information, please email training@ymca-snoco.org for a re-set.

Here is a pdf with all the information you need to create an account with Great Academy.

And here are some FAQ’s with information on additional trainings available to you!
