Buffer Mobile

To download Buffer on your phone go to the app store or google play store, depending on if you’re using Apple or Android. For this demonstration, we’ll be using android.

You will not have a login until you pass the quiz!

This is what Buffer looks like in the google play store.

Once you have it downloaded, you will log in using your Y email, and the password you set through the email invitation. Select ‘I already have a Buffer account’.

This is the first page of the app you will see. Make sure you are in the channel for your branch! To create a post, select the pencil icon.

Add text for your post, select images or videos you want to attach, choose between Post or Reel for the type of post you want to make, and hit ‘Next’.

To continue with your post, select ‘Schedule Draft’. If you would like to save your work and pick it back up later, select ‘Save as Draft’.

You can then set the date and time for your post.

Your post will the appear in the ‘Drafts’ tab. You make edits at this appoint, or select ‘Request Approval’. Your post will then be moved to the ‘PENDING APPROVAL’ tab, and marketing will receive a notification to approve your post.

Once your post is approved by marketing, it will be added to the calendar!
