Becoming certified as a swim coach is not only important for ensuring the safety of your swimmers, but it also demonstrates your commitment to the profession and your ability to provide quality coaching.

Required Certifications

• American Red Cross Safety Training for Swim Coaches Online:

Safety Training for Swim Coaches | Red Cross

• Lifeguard certification or In-Water Safety Training for Swim Coaches Skills Verification
• CPR
• First Aid
• YMCA Principles of Competitive Swimming and Diving
• Child Protection Training
