Apps are becoming increasingly important in the workplace, as they can help improve productivity and streamline processes. By leveraging technology to automate tasks and provide real-time information, organizations can save time and reduce errors. As such, it is important for businesses to explore and invest in relevant apps to improve their operations.
The YMCA of Snohomish County has developed two apps that lifeguards will use to help make our Natatoriums safer and communication more precise and efficient.
Aquatics Facilities App
The Aquatics Facility App is broken into 5 categories:
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
- Quarterly
- Annually
Within each section there are required tasks for the Lifeguards, Leads, Coordinators and Aquatics Directors. These tasks range from open and closing duties to important facility safety checks. It is important that everyone uses this app and completes all tasks each day. Aquatics Directors receive a report daily that notifies them of any safety issues that you found. tis will ensure that all items are addressed and fixed an efficient and effective manner. The Aquatic Facilities App is an important tool for every Aquatic Staff member to ensure that our Natatoriums are clean and operating safely.
Incident Report App
The Incident Report App was created to simplify the reporting process for all incidents that occur in the branches. When an incident occurs you will need to complete and Incident Report through the app. The app will ask you a series of questions beginning with the name of the person completing the report and the name of the person involved in the incident. It is important that you always get the first and last name of everyone involved in an incident as well as everyone that responded to the incident, it is also important that every employee involved in the incident complete a report. The more accurate information we have the quicker we can resolve the incident. Once you have submitted your report our Risk Department receives it and will process. If there is a need for any follow up you will receive an email from Risk requesting follow up.
