Tracking progress is important for any goal. That’s why we’ve created easy ways for you to measure your progress as a tour-guide. These tools are meant to support you and grow your confidence as you navigate this training and start giving real tours at your branch.

Tour Certification

Receiving your Tour Certification is an exciting accomplishment that means you have successfully completed your training and are ready to start giving cause-driven tours. Learning never stops, and we encourage you to revisit these trainings every now and then after you’re certified.

Here’s how certification works:

Complete all Training Hub trainings

2️⃣

Pass all Tours quizzes on Training Hub

3️⃣

Shadow a tour given by a Certified Tour Guide

4️⃣

Co-Lead a tour with a Certified Tour Guide

5️⃣

Lead your first tour while shadowed by a Certified Tour Guide and receive their approval

Receiving your Tour Certification is a big deal and something that will be celebrated. We can’t wait to see you take your first step towards welcoming countless new families and community members to our Y.

Achievement Levels

Once you’re certified and have begun converting tours, the fun really begins. Tour Guides can reach three levels of achievement: Bronze, Silver, and Gold.

Everyone begins at the Bronze level.

After 5 converted tours, you automatically level up to Silver!

Gold level is reached by converting your 20th tour. Will you go for Gold?

Expect rewards, incentives, and LOTS of celebration when you level up to Silver or Gold. Remember: what this all really means is that more families in Snohomish County are getting the opportunity to experience the impact of the Y thanks to you.
