The Tour

This is the big one! As you watch and read about cause-driven tours, think about how you would apply these concepts in your branch. We know every community is a little different, but the ideas we highlight here can apply everywhere!

Watch

Now Gael jumps in to our tour of the facility. Watch the video below, read the content that follows, then be sure to complete your learning quiz.

Breakdown

Here’s some of the things we can take away from this:

🎯
Make the tour RELEVANT! Spend the most time talking about the things the member expressed interest in!
🗺️
It’s okay to quickly highlight things that the member didn’t mention- we want them to know that we offer something for everyone.
👪
Always highlight family benefits! Even if someone is planning to join by themselves, we want everyone to know we’re a family organization.
💞
Always highlight that we’re a non-profit, cause-driven organization.
👋
Say hello to members! We want them to witness and feel the connection. You should even introduce them to members while on the tour!
🌤️
Don’t forget to mention Big Brothers Big Sisters, our youth mentorship program.

Wellness Coaching

You saw Gael schedule Henry for a Wellness Coaching appointment before the tour was even finished! This is an awesome way for members to commit to something- making a plan to come back- before we’ve even tried to close the sale.

When you visit the wellness center in your branch, stop and talk about wellness coaching, then ask them if they would like to schedule an appointment. Here’s how scheduling works:

Group Exercise

We also saw Gael invite Henry to RSVP to a Group Exercise class. This is another great way for prospective members to get connected and engaged before we’ve closed the sale.

When you pass a group exercise studio in your branch, stop and talk highlight group exercise, then ask them if they would like to RSVP to a group exercise class. Here’s how this works:
